Dr. Grant Jacobson is a passionate and dedicated veterinarian who followed his true calling to make a positive impact on the lives of animals and their owners. Driven by a lifelong affinity for animals, his journey to becoming The Hometown Veterinarian is unique.
Dr. Brittany Hoyt wanted to be a veterinarian since she was a young girl. She grew up on a farm in North Dakota caring for all the animals and fell in love with the science and problem-solving that veterinary medicine brings.
Dr. McKenna Kvidera joined The Hometown Veterinarian team in June of 2021. She grew up outside Milwaukee and completed her undergraduate degree at Iowa State University (Go Cyclones!). Dr.
Dr. Rachael Franken grew up in Radcliffe, Iowa and was an active member of 4H and FFA during her youth.
Dr. Stefanie Merrill grew up in Ottumwa, Iowa. She began showing interest in veterinary medicine in her early years of life. She went on to work at a clinic in her hometown throughout high school where her love for veterinary medicine flourished.
