Veterinarian
Dr. McKenna Kvidera joined The Hometown Veterinarian team in June of 2021. She grew up outside Milwaukee and completed her undergraduate degree at Iowa State University (Go Cyclones!). Dr. Kvidera earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
Dr. Kvidera focuses on establishing a meaningful relationship with clients allowing her to provide excellent patient care through all life stages. She enjoys preventative care education with clients in an effort to provide recommendations for early diagnosis and treatment of disease. Dr. Kvidera’s special interests include dermatology (specifically allergies), internal medicine and geriatric care. She enjoys continually expanding her knowledge base and is currently focusing on ultrasonography.
Dr. Kvidera, her husband and daughter live in Traer with their Miniature Australian Shepherd, Navy and have beef cattle. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading and going for walks.
